Procedure for break-in
1-Lube it up well before you shoot it ( I used Rem Oil as it is inexpensive and clean running for .22 )
2-Grab yourself some gloves and work the bolt a couple of hundred times before you shoot it the first time to save on the break in period. ( I did this before I installed it on my second one, thus the gloves to save your hands some discomfort )
3-Per the instructions, shoot good quality ammo with brass or copper coating. Follow up with .223 or 5.56 to clean your firearm gas system.
4-Clean the conversion kit after use. ( I used Rem Oil again as it is my favorite CLP for .22)
5-.22 is a bit dirty so there was more crud in the receivers, easy clean as it really is just .22 crud. Read Less
