Works as advertised

I bought this slide for a P80 build. The breakin period is about as expected for a blank unfinished slide. After polishing the internals and working the slide a few thousand times it is functioning flawlessly. No hand-fitting of internal parts was required so everything appears to be well within spec. Would buy again.

Black slide

If u want to go for a plain look of want a slide you can fully cut. This is the best way to go. I'm leaving mine blank for now until I can find a good design

Overall this slide is well machined and exactly what I expected to receive. There looked to be a burr from a possible drop on the underside of the slide near the muzzle end but was easily cleaned up/removed. I’m unfamiliar with the tolerances of a factory G19 slide but the Wilson Combat full fit barrel required very little fitting on only two of the three spots that needed to be fit. Wilson doesn’t exactly say how over sized the barrel is supposed to be but I expected to have a more custom fit. I am curious to also compare the pocket cut under the front sight. The width of that pocket doesn’t seem to serve a purpose other than to limit the ability to customize without cutting through the slide at the top corners. After measuring the blank slide (in order to determine what I could take off) the tolerances were held very well and there were very few tool marks left. All of the stock slide components fit without interference. The rear dove tail does look like it has a radius (smaller width in the middle) and I’m unsure if this was intentional. All in all I think this was a worthy buy and I would buy this again.
