Introduction

An AR-15 stripped upper receiver mounts and houses the stripped barrel, handguard, and gas block in an AR-15 or LR-308/AR-10. All Mil-Spec upper receivers are made with a 'Military Specification' and are to exceed the military requirements imposed on all service rifles' designs.A4 full-length 1913 Picatinny rail section is for mounting Optics and Iron Sights with a Brass Deflector and a Standard Forward Assist section. You can readily convert your upper receiver into a dual charging formation to a rear charging handle or side charging latch upper receiver.

Gorilla Machining 7075-T6 Aluminum is a high-strength alloy metal with great ductility, toughness, and resistance against wear. This material was standardized for all Aerospace equipment and aircraft use. What a Suffix means is a T6 is a temperament treatment to increase the overall toughness and strength of the Aluminum. 7075-T6 Aluminum material was implemented towards the AR-15 platform for its ease of manufacturing, lightweight properties, and strength.

Coating

Gorilla Machining Type 3 hard coat anodized stripped upper receiver, the overall process increases the thickness and hardness of the natural oxide layer on the surface of the metal parts. This increases the corrosion and wear resistance of the Upper Receiver.
