Bear Creek Arsenal Barrels - 6.5 Grendel Type 2 Barrel

This Gorilla Machining AR-15 20" heavy Parkerized 6.5 Grendel barrel has a rifle length gas system with a 1:8 twist. Our 6.5 Grendel Parkerized rifle barrels are made from the finest 4150 Chrome Moly Vanadium and precisely rifled for high accuracy at a great price. We recommend Defender 107 gr.Federal Gold Medal Berger 130gr.Although it may appear to be a simple solution at first glance, there are some subtleties to consider. While some states allow the use of the 5.56 NATO/.223 Remington (as well as other .22 calibers) for hunting deer, it is prohibited in many states. For example, in Colorado, a caliber of .243 or greater is required for big game and it must generate at least 1,000 ft-lbs. of energy when fired from 100 yards away. The 6.5 Grendel surpasses these requirements with ease.
